I took this picture of uncle Stan on a hike up to Vernal Falls in
Yosemite National Park, California. Across the way you can see
Upper Yosemite Falls that plunge 1400 feet before hitting any rocks
We were very hot but fortunately I don't have to eat or drink.
This valley was carved by glaciers 30,000 years ago
and that is why the walls are so steep.
