On the way to Santa Ana - Pyramid Lake. This lake is really a reservoir and is part of the system that makes up the California Aquaduct, which supplies about 1/2 of the drinking water to the Los Angeles area. It is called Pyramid lake because of the shape of an island that is in the middle of the lake.
